Hi Kerr, Thank you for your booking. I'm looking forward to hosting you 😊 I've put quite a bit of effort into making the place nice for AirBnB so please look after it 🙏🏼 The earliest check in is 3pm. Checkout is 11am. Here's some information that will help you get around the flat. Most of these are straightforward, the general rule of thumb is that I would expect you to treat my flat as you would your own: take the shoes off when in the flat, don’t smoke inside the flat (but you can smoke in the roof garden), avoid playing loud music after 10pm etc... There is wardrobe space in both rooms cleared out for you. 🚪Doors Access is via a keypad and code. Very simple. You will receive details for this a few days before. Please note that my apartment door doesn't lock by itself, *so please lock when leaving* 🔑 🚘 Parking There is paid on street residents parking - I'm happy to book and cover the cost of this for you. But you will need to tell me in advance so I can register the virtual permit with the council. 🌡Heating You can control the heating in each room individually using the thermostat on the radiator. Simply turn the dial on it. 🎵 Music & Lights Please refer to the flat manual (http://corley.me/manual.pdf) ☕️ Coffee & Food There is a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules supplied. Tea, as well as mugs, can be found in the cupboards in the kitchen. Please feel free to make use of the spices and condiments. Feel free to use store cupboard items within reason. Anything in the fridge is fair game 🍸 🪣 Appliances In the kitchen, you have an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster & blender, which are all easy to use. Happy to share cooking tips :) There's also a library of cookbooks which you're more than welcome to use! 📽 Projector Please refer to the flat manual (http://corley.me/manual.pdf) 🚮 Waste and Recycling: Trash/rubbish bin is hidden in the corner cupboard. If you want to take rubbish out the bins are on your left as you go out the door to the building. 📍The full address is Flat 13, Sultan House, SE1 5LJ. Hi Kerr, Thanks for the details. ✨️ It is safe 😊 I host a lot of families in the flat and Bermondsey tube station (on the Jubilee Line) is just a 13min walk away from the flat. The postcode of the flat is SE1 5LJ. I'd highly recommend downloading an app called CityMapper for navigating public transport in London. It has all the options on it and it very upto date and accurate. You can pay for all public transport in London just using any contactless bank card. Or you can buy and Oystercard.

I wanted to let you know that previous guests had some issues with the washing machine, and I’m planning to replace it with a new one so you can have a fully working appliance during your stay. Unfortunately, I couldn’t secure an appointment with the technician for tomorrow, so I would need to arrange it during your stay. The technician will provide me with an exact date and time, and you can choose whether you’d like to be in the flat or not when they come. Please, If you’re not comfortable with the replacement taking place during your stay, that’s absolutely fine — I can look for an alternative solution for your laundry needs. The entrance to my flat is on floor 3. Come up the lift and go straight ahead right to the end of the corridor and the flat is on your left. At both the Roku device on the HDMI cable are less than 5 months old. I'd like to again sincerely apologize for the issues that you faced during your stay so far. I hope that the rest of it goes smoothly and we can leave you in peace. I have ordered a high-quality HDMI cable which will definitely solve the problem with the projector. Unfortunately, I couldn't specify morning delivery tomorrow, so it will just arrive at some point tomorrow. I will monitor the delivery and arrange with Russell for him to come and install the cable for you. You will not need to be in the flat for the delivery. The Amazon deliveries are very good at just leaving it downstairs on the window.

Yes, he definitely tested the Roku while I was on the phone with him - he played a 4k video on YouTube. Can you please try unplugging and plugging the HDMI cable in? Russel used a 4k HMDI cable with HCDP 2.2 support. I have ordered another cable which supports upto 16k video and has HCDP 2.3 support. **This will arrive today before 10pm via Amazon, addressed to Mark FAO Kerr**. If you are happy to accept this delivery and try and plug the new cable in yourself then please go ahead. If you are not prepared to do this then please let me know so I can send another engineer round to fix it. I can only apologize for this inconvenience - the projector was definitely working when Russel installed it. 🙏🏼

Possibly, however it would be strange if the projector suddenly became incompatible - we installed the Roku back in July and we watched several films and series on Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube videos. And we've had nearly 100% occupancy with guests who have also been using it without any trouble. I remember now that I used the old HDMI cable, the 5m white one - it's too long and not high enough quality. But it's strange that it's worked without trouble for months 🤷🏼‍♂️ sometimes there's no accounting for technology! 😅

Try these troubleshooting steps:​ - Lower the display resolution: Go to Roku Settings > Display Type and set it to 720p or 1080p instead of Auto​ - Disable auto refresh rate: Go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced Display Settings and disable "Auto Adjust Display Refresh Rate" if available​ - Try different HDMI ports: Switch to a different HDMI input on your projector (HDMI 2 instead of HDMI 1)​

The projector only supports HDCP 1.4 - so I think reducing the resolution of the Roku will sort the issue
