Here's some information that will help you get around the flat. Most of these are straightforward, the general rule of thumb is that I would expect you to treat my flat as you would your own: take the shoes off when in the flat, don’t smoke inside the flat (but you can smoke in the roof garden), avoid playing loud music after 10pm etc... There is wardrobe space in both rooms cleared out for you. 🚪Doors Access is via a keypad and code. Very simple. You will receive details for this a few days before. Please note that my apartment door doesn't lock by itself, *so please lock when leaving* 🔑 🚘 Parking There is paid on street residents parking - I'm happy to book and cover the cost of this for you. But you will need to tell me in advance so I can register the virtual permit with the council. 🌡Heating You can control the heating in each room individually using the thermostat on the radiator. Simply turn the dial on it. 🎵 Music & Lights Please refer to the flat manual (https://tinyurl.com/au6bls) ☕️ Coffee & Food There is a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules supplied. Tea, as well as mugs, can be found in the cupboards in the kitchen. Please feel free to make use of the spices and condiments. Feel free to use store cupboard items within reason. Anything in the fridge is fair game 🍸 🪣 Appliances In the kitchen, you have an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster & blender, which are all easy to use. Happy to share cooking tips :) There's also a library of cookbooks which you're more than welcome to use! 📽 Projector Please refer to the flat manual (https://tinyurl.com/au6bls) 🚮 Waste and Recycling: Trash/rubbish bin is hidden in the corner cupboard. If you want to take rubbish out the bins are on your left as you go out the door to the building. 📍The postcode of the flat is SE1 5LJ. The flat is on the 3rd floor at the end of the corridor. You will receive full address details in due course. 🧡 Finally, This is my home when I’m not travelling, so I’ve tried to make it cosy and welcoming for you too. Will you be requiring the sofa for sleeping as well as the two (double and superking) beds? Let me know in advance so I can arrange extra linen. Please note that it isn't a sofa bed. However, it's a large comfortable sofa to sleep on - I can attest to that myself😊 Thanks!

Bermondsey tube station (on the Jubilee Line) is a 13min walk away from the flat. The postcode of the flat is SE1 5LJ. I'd highly recommend downloading an app called CityMapper for navigating public transport in London. It has all the options on it and it very upto date and accurate. You can pay for all public transport in London just using any contactless bank card. Or you can buy and Oystercard.

Yes, the apartment is very well located. It’s in Zone 1 of London, which means it’s within the city center. Bermondsey tube station (Jubilee Line) is just a 13-minute walk away, from where you can quickly reach all the main attractions in the center - museums, shops, theaters, Tower Bridge, etc. It’s a perfect location that combines being in a quiet residential area but with very easy and quick access to all of central London.

Of course, My favourite shop is St James Supermarket. It's a Turkish supermarket with a great selection of vegetables and a butchers counter and is open 24/7. It is less than a 10 minute walk up St James Road (https://goo.gl/maps/uq9ZfX5jfK8m5XKY7) Just opposite St James Supermarket is a small Tesco. If you need a large supermarket then there is a Tesco Superstore just 12 min walk away (https://goo.gl/maps/yeFgvqVAqLA2cr2Q9) Hope this helps 😊

Thank you very much for letting me know — I really appreciate you sharing this with me. This apartment is my own home, which I rent out only when I know I will be travelling. For that reason, I take its care and cleanliness very seriously and always hire a professional cleaning team I know to prepare the flat before each stay. So far, I haven’t received any complaints regarding cleanliness. However, I want to be completely honest and transparent: while we do our very best to ensure a high standard of cleaning, I can’t guarantee that the apartment will meet the specific needs of someone with a dust allergy. You may wish to consider a hotel, as they are often better equipped to accommodate specialised medical or allergy-related requirements. I will put a note in for the cleaners to make an extra special effort for your stay, if you do wish to continue with this booking. Please let me know if you have any questions — I’m happy to help however I can.

I want to be fully transparent. I’m an individual owner renting out my own home while I’m travelling, and although I do my best to be responsive via this app, there won’t be anyone available to attend the apartment in person. The apartment is setup for fully self-service digital check-in, therefore, if on-site assistance is essential for you, a commercially managed property or hotel may be a better fit. As your trip is in April, there’s still time to explore other options if needed. Please do let me know how you’d like to proceed — I wouldn’t want to be the reason your holiday doesn’t go as planned. My priority is that you have a genuinely good experience, whether that’s here or elsewhere. You can cancel free of any penalty since the booking isn't for several months.

In addition to this. I want to clarify the location to make sure it works for you. The nearest tube station is Bermondsey (Jubilee line), which is a 15-20 minute walk from the flat. Travel times from my apartment: - Big Ben: ~30-45 minutes​ - Tower Bridge: ~30-40 minutes​ - Natural History Museum: ~40-50 minutes​ If you're looking for somewhere super central with easy transport access to the tourist sights, my apartment is not the right fit - I'd recommend staying somewhere closer to the river and slightly West of where my apartment is. Waterloo for example would be the more affordable option closer to the river, or Covent Garden/Westerminster would put you slap in the middle of all the tourist sights - they're just North of the river. North of the river tends to be slightly more expensive.
