I'm looking forward to hosting you 😊 I've put quite a bit of effort into making the place nice for AirBnB so please look after it 🙏🏼 The earliest check in is 3pm. Checkout is 11am. Here's some information that will help you get around the flat. Most of these are straightforward, the general rule of thumb is that I would expect you to treat my flat as you would your own: take the shoes off when in the flat, don’t smoke inside the flat (but you can smoke in the roof garden), avoid playing loud music after 10pm etc... There is wardrobe space in both rooms cleared out for you. 🚪Doors Access is via a keypad and code. Very simple. You will receive details for this a few days before. Please note that my apartment door doesn't lock by itself, *so please lock when leaving* 🔑 🚘 Parking There is paid on street residents parking - I'm happy to book and cover the cost of this for you. But you will need to tell me in advance so I can register the virtual permit with the council. 🌡Heating You can control the heating in each room individually using the thermostat on the radiator. Simply turn the dial on it. 🎵 Music & Lights Please refer to the flat manual (https://tinyurl.com/au6bls) ☕️ Coffee & Food There is a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules supplied. Tea, as well as mugs, can be found in the cupboards in the kitchen. Please feel free to make use of the spices and condiments. Feel free to use store cupboard items within reason. Anything in the fridge is fair game 🍸 🪣 Appliances In the kitchen, you have an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster & blender, which are all easy to use. Happy to share cooking tips :) There's also a library of cookbooks which you're more than welcome to use! 📽 Projector Please refer to the flat manual (https://tinyurl.com/au6bls) 🚮 Waste and Recycling: Trash/rubbish bin is hidden in the corner cupboard. If you want to take rubbish out the bins are on your left as you go out the door to the building. 📍The postcode of the flat is SE1 5LJ. The flat is on the 3rd floor at the end of the corridor. You will receive full address details in due course. 🧡 Finally, This is my home when I’m not travelling, so I’ve tried to make it cosy and welcoming for you too. If it's your first time in London, I'd highly recommend downloading an app called CityMapper for navigating public transport. It has all the options on it and it very upto date and accurate 🚎 🚉

Will you be requiring the sofa for sleeping as well as the two (double and superking) beds? Let me know in advance so I can arrange extra linen. Please note that it isn't a sofa bed. However, it's a large comfortable sofa to sleep on - I can attest to that myself😊 Thanks!

Hi Eileen, Thank you for all the details! It will be a pleasure to hosting you all ✨️ When I rent the flat on Airbnb, it's because I'm often traveling 😊 I also have a home in Edinburgh, closer to my family, and I travel to Mexico a lot to practice freediving, as it's one of my favorite sports.

To get to my flat from Heathrow Airport I'd say the underground is best. You can get the Elizabeth Line (purple) to Bond Street and then the Jubilee Line (grey) to Bermondsey, then it's a 13min walk. You pay for the underground using any contactless credit or debit card - there is no need to buy tickets. I'd also highly recommend downloading an app called CityMapper for navigating public transport in London, it's by far the most accurate. If you want to get a taxi it will be approximately £60 if you don't use the airport taxis. Uber operates in London. However, there are two other competitors to Uber which are usually cheaper: FreeNow and Bolt. I find FreeNow is usually cheapest.

Bermondsey tube station (on the Jubilee Line) is a 13min walk away from the flat. With the app CityMapper for navigating public transport in London, you will need the postcode of the flat, it is SE1 5LJ. It has all the options on it and it very upto date and accurate. You can pay for all public transport in London just using any contactless bank card. Or you can buy and Oystercard.

In the same app you can access information about other types of public transport, such as how to use the bus. It gives you all the options and possible costs. 😊

Regarding supermarkets, My favourite shop is St James Supermarket. It's a Turkish supermarket with a great selection of vegetables and a butchers counter and is open 24/7. It is less than a 10 minute walk up St James Road (https://goo.gl/maps/uq9ZfX5jfK8m5XKY7) Just opposite St James Supermarket is a small Tesco. If you need a large supermarket then there is a Tesco Superstore just 12 min walk away (https://goo.gl/maps/yeFgvqVAqLA2cr2Q9)

And lastly, yes, the apartment has heating in all the rooms. 😊 It doesn't have air conditioning. The apartment has very good ventilation, so I've never needed it so far, but I always leave fans available for each room.
