Then I will reimburse you through airbnb for your parking costs.✨️ (I've never had issues leaving my car in this car park for extended periods, but some guests opt for the Q-Park multistorey, which costs £24 per day. You're welcome to park there instead and pay the difference beyond the £16 parking reimbursement I provide). Let me know if you have any questions! 🙏🏽

Please let me know your estimated arrival time. 🏡 House Rules The general rule of thumb is to treat the flat as you would your own: 👞 Shoes off inside the flat. 🚭 No smoking indoors. 🔇 Keep noise levels down after 10pm. 📦 Personal Belongings I live here most of the time, so some of my belongings will be in the flat, but there is wardrobe space in both rooms. 🚪 Doors & Keys The lockbox code will be provided before your stay. Connect to WiFi and cast from Spotify or Apple Music to "Kitchen". 🪣 Appliances The kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & toaster – all easy to use. ☕ Coffee & Food Tea, coffee, mugs, spices & condiments are available in the kitchen. Feel free to help yourself! Any alcohol in the fridge is fair game 🍸 📽 TV Samsung Smart TV with Netflix & Prime Video – remote is on the coffee table. Let me know if you need help. 🚘 Parking Paid parking is available at a private car park on Carlton Road, right next to the flat. Let me know in advance if you need details. 🚮 Waste & Recycling Black bin = general waste. Recycling bin = no glass (leave separately). External bins are on Carlton Road (turn right twice when exiting the building). 🐶🐱 Pets Let me know if you’re bringing a pet. Pets are not allowed on sofas or beds – extra cleaning charges apply for pet hair on linen or soft furnishings. 🧡 Finally… I’m new to hosting and have put my heart into making this space as welcoming as possible. Just a quick note for your check-in tomorrow. You’ll find a lockbox on the wooden doorframe at 35 Leith Street, it’s the second one down. The code is 3108. The building entrance is right next to Maki & Ramen. Once inside, head up to the third floor for flat 11. There’s a door marked 11 & 12 that looks locked, but it isn’t , You can just go through. Check-in is from 3pm onwards unless we’ve arranged something different. If anything isn’t clear or you run into any issues, just message me.😊 P.S. You’ll also receive full instructions with photos via Airbnb on the day, this is just so you’ve got the code (3108) handy.

Hope you’re settling in nicely. Just a couple of quick notes to help keep everything running smoothly during your stay. When you check out, please return the keys to the same lockbox you collected them from ( it’s the second one from the top, code 3108). For the bathroom, as with many properties in Edinburgh where the original architecture has been carefully preserved, some features are being updated gradually. Please keep the shower head pointing downwards (not towards the curtain) and use a moderate water pressure.🙏🏽😊 These small things help keep everything in great condition and ensure a comfortable stay. Thanks again for letting me know. I’ve now managed to get in touch with the cleaning company, and they told me they’re checking with the team who cleaned the flat after your check-out yesterday to see whether anyone remembers finding a baby blanket. They had quite a busy day with several properties, so they’re trying to trace it back with the cleaners involved. Normally, whenever they find any forgotten belongings, they leave them stored in a bag alongside their cleaning equipment, so I’ll also be able to check there personally once I’m back in Edinburgh at the end of June.😊 At the moment, I do have new guests staying in the flat, so unfortunately I’m not able to access the property or ask the current guests to search for belongings inside the apartment. In the meantime, would you mind sending me a brief description of the blanket, and also letting me know how long you’ll be in Edinburgh or what would be the easiest way for you to recover it if it does turn up? I’ll certainly do my best to help.🙏

Hi Jay, I’ve managed to find the quilt! The team had left it tucked away in the bedside drawer. It’s a shame I couldn’t find it sooner, but now that I know, if you’d like, I can send it to you when I get home after my trip. Thank you for being such lovely guests; I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
