Please let me know your estimated arrival time. 🏡 House Rules The general rule of thumb is to treat the flat as you would your own: 👞 Shoes off inside the flat. 🚭 No smoking indoors. 🔇 Keep noise levels down after 10pm. 📦 Personal Belongings I live here most of the time, so some of my belongings will be in the flat, but there is wardrobe space in both rooms. 🚪 Doors & Keys The lockbox code will be provided before your stay. Please return the keys to the safe at check-out 🔑 🌐 WiFi Network: SmokeyWhiskey Password: peatmonster1 🌡 Heating Control the heating via the Hive thermostat in the living room. Press the boost button on top or turn the dial. 🎵 Music Sonos speakers are in the kitchen. Connect to WiFi and cast from Spotify or Apple Music to "Kitchen". 🪣 Appliances The kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & toaster – all easy to use. ☕ Coffee & Food Tea, coffee, mugs, spices & condiments are available in the kitchen. Feel free to help yourself! Any alcohol in the fridge is fair game 🍸 📽 TV Samsung Smart TV with Netflix & Prime Video – remote is on the coffee table. Let me know if you need help. 🚘 Parking Paid parking is available at a private car park on Carlton Road, right next to the flat. Let me know in advance if you need details. 🚮 Waste & Recycling Black bin = general waste. Recycling bin = no glass (leave separately). External bins are on Carlton Road (turn right twice when exiting the building). 🐶🐱 Pets Let me know if you’re bringing a pet. Pets are not allowed on sofas or beds – extra cleaning charges apply for pet hair on linen or soft furnishings. 🧡 Finally… I’m new to hosting and have put my heart into making this space as welcoming as possible. Hi Steve, Unfortunately there are guests checking out the morning of the day you arrive. What I'll do is talk to the cleaning team so they can let me know if they finish a little earlier, but when there's check-out and check-in on the same day, they usually finish just in time.🙏 If you need somewhere to store your luggage while you wait then there is a service called Luggage Hero. It's like Airbnb for bags - shops will keep hold of your bags for a small fee. There's one of Broughton Street which is very close to my flat and there are a number of nice cafes on that road. Hi Steve, I'm afraid that week the apartment is fully booked, and we also have new guests checking in on the same day you check out. Because of that, the check-out time on the 19th will need to remain at 11:00 AM.🙏 For your arrival day, I can ask the cleaning team to let me know if they finish earlier than expected, and if so, I'll happily let you know in case an earlier check-in is possible. Unfortunately, for the departure day, we're not able to extend the check-out time because the apartment needs to be prepared for the incoming guests. I've attached a screenshot so you can see how fully booked the calendar is that week😅. One thing I can recommend is using a luggage storage app/service after check-out. During the summer, Edinburgh gets incredibly busy and these services are quite popular and convenient if you have a few hours before picking up your van. Hi Steve, Yes, absolutely. About 48 hours before your stay, I’ll send you all the necessary check-in details, including the lockbox code. You'll receive everything both through the app and by message, so you'll have easy access to the information when you arrive. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime. 😊

Just a quick note for your check-in tomorrow. You’ll find a lockbox on the wooden doorframe at 35 Leith Street, it’s the second one down. The code is 3108. The building entrance is right next to Maki & Ramen. Once inside, head up to the third floor for flat 11. There’s a door marked 11 & 12 that looks locked, but it isn’t , You can just go through. Check-in is from 3pm onwards unless we’ve arranged something different. If anything isn’t clear or you run into any issues, just message me.😊 P.S. You’ll also receive full instructions with photos via Airbnb on the day, this is just so you’ve got the code (3108) handy.

I know you've just checked in, but just a quick note to say that when you do checkout I need you to put the keys back in the lockbox where you found them. It's the second one from the top and the code is 3108. Also, Just a quick note to help you enjoy the flat comfortably. As the building is historic and the bathroom design is being updated little by little, please make sure to keep the shower head pointing downwards (not towards the curtain) and use moderate water pressure rather than the maximum setting. This small tip really helps keep everything working well and makes your stay more pleasant. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼😊
