In fact, I’m actually in Scotland myself at the moment, as I have a second property here. 😊 Just to clarify, I didn’t decline your enquiry because I didn’t want to host you. Airbnb only gives hosts 24 hours to respond to an enquiry, and if I accept a booking and then realise through our communication that there’s something I can’t accommodate, or that the place isn’t quite right for your plans, it’s not as straightforward to cancel afterwards. As it’s your first time using Airbnb, I simply like to take this little precaution to make sure the stay works well for both of us. If you’d like to go ahead, just send a new booking request and I’ll be very happy to accept it. 😊 Cheers, Marcus
