Hi Lorraine, Thank you very much for your enquiry! 😊 Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. Unfortunately, as the apartment is in a residential building, there is no reception or luggage storage available, so we’re unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. The apartment is on the third floor. The building is one of Edinburgh’s original buildings, dating back to around 1800, which gives it a lovely local character, but it also means there is no lift, as is common with this type of historic building. The stairs to the third floor are wide, though, and there is a small landing on each floor where you can stop for a rest if needed.

If you need somewhere to store your luggage while you wait then there is a service called Luggage Hero. It's like Airbnb for bags - shops will keep hold of your bags for a small fee. There's one of Broughton Street which is very close to my flat and there are a number of nice cafes on that road. Unfortunately I can't send you the URLs because Airbnb doesn't allow me to send URLs until you have confirmed the booking.
